Quickstart: Repeating an existing Clipstream™ Live Stream
Quickly syndicate an existing Clipstream™ Live stream for the first time using the Clipstream™ Live Repeater. For a more detailed description of how to configure The Repeater, go to Configuring the Clipstream™ Live Repeater.


Before you begin
You should have already received, installed, started and logged into your Repeater.

Find an existing Clipstream™ Live stream
You can easily test repeating a Clipstream™ Live stream by using any of our own demonstration streams. To find one:
  1. Open a browser and go to live.clipstream.com
  2. From the front page, choose either the TV or Live Camera demonstration links.

    The demo page will open and play a Clipstream™ Live stream.

  3. Once you have the demo page open, view the source of that page.

    The source HTML will open up in a new window.

  4. Scroll down to the <applet code.



    In the very first line copy of the http:// address in the codebase statement.
Now you have the IP address of an existing stream to repeat.
Enter repeating information into the Clipstream™ Live Repeater administration page
Now that you have the address of an existing stream, you can enter in needed information in order to repeat it.
  1. Log into your running Repeater
  2. In the next screen - the Administration screen - paste the http:// address that you copied into the Clipstream™ Live URL field.


  3. Click the Set and Restart button.



    If you have your DOS or terminal window visible you will see it update to start streaming the existing stream.



    You are now repeating the stream coming from our servers.
