Start and Login to the Clipstream™ Live Repeater
Start the Repeater using a DOS or UNIX terminal shell. Then login if you wish to configure the Repeater for a new webcast.

Start the Repeater
The Repeater must already be running for you to configure it.
Windows:
In the folder where you installed The Repeater:
  • Double-click (launch) the file runwin.bat.

A DOS window will open that will show the Repeater starting up and running.

The IP address after "http://..." has been obscured in this image for security reasons.
*Note: Do not close the DOS window unless you wish to stop the Repeater.

UNIX or MacOSX:
  1. Open up a new terminal or UNIX shell to get a command prompt.
  2. Navigate to the folder where you copied the Repeater files.
  3. Run this command: java -cp ClipstreamLiveRepeater.zip ClipstreamLiveRepeater

You will see this in your terminal:

    MacOSX Darwin terminal shown.

With the Repeater running now you can access the administration page.

Log into the administration page
The Repeater allows you to configure it remotely using any web browser. You will need to know:
  • The IP address for the server station.
  • Any password you might have given it (no password necessary the first time).
The IP address is listed in the last line of the terminal or DOS window which says:
"Please open http://XX.XXX.XXXX.XX/admin for administration." Where XXX are the IP address numbers for your station.

To log in:
  1. Open up a web browser.
  2. In the address bar, type in "http://" followed by the address numbers. Then "/admin".
  3. Press return.

You will see the first login screen:

By default, there is no password. But type in a password if you had previously set it.

  4. Click on the Login button.
