Testing the Clipstream™ Live Repeater
Once you have started repeating a Clipstream™ Live stream, confirm that you (and others) can see the content coming from the Repeater.


Before you begin
Make sure that the Repeater is running and you have chosen a Clipstream™ Live stream to repeat.

Viewing the Repeated stream
To view the Repeated stream:
  1. Open a browser.
  2. In the address bar, type in the http:// address for your server.

    Tip: the IP address for your server is listed in your running DOS or terminal window for the Repeater.

  3. Press return.

    If you typed in the proper IP address, the browser page will update and show you a page with a Clipstream™ Live video stream. After a moment it will load up, connect and play the stream.

Troubleshooting
If the page did not load up or gave you a .404 error, check the following:
  • The IP address you typed into the browser address bar did not match your server.
  • You did not add a port number.

    ex. http://64.141.83.21:8080/
    (port 8080)
  • The originating stream is active.
If you got a grey box:
  • Install Java onto the browser of the station you are testing on.
