Securing your Live stream
In Clipstream Live version 2 you can secure your live stream to selected computers (or deny certain computers access).

1. Start Clipstream™ Live
Find the Clipstream Live application icon and launch it.


2. Choose Advanced Server Settings

Once Clipstream Live is running, bring up the Advanced Server Settings dialog by going to the Settings submenu and choosing Advanced Server Settings.

3. Choose Method of IP security
You can choose to either A) allow only specific computers to view your live stream OR B) deny certain computers access to your live stream.

3A. Allow specific computers

A1. If you choose A) allow specific computers, click on the first option.

A2. Then in the "IP Address" field below, enter in the IP addresses of the computers you want to allow to view your live stream. To do this, click in an empty space in the field and then begin typing (follow the syntax in the examples given at the bottom of the box).



A3. Press OK to close the box.

3B. Deny specific computers

B1. If you choose B) deny certain computers, click the second option.

B2. Then in the "IP Address" field below, enter in the IP addresses of the computers you DO NOT want to allow to view your live stream. To do this, click in an empty space in the field and then begin typing. (follow the syntax in the examples given at the bottom of the box)



B3. Press OK to close the box.
